Event Description


The Lord's Gym Kids Mud Run is a special obstacle course mud run open to all kids ages 4-17. The course is under a mile long 18+ obstacles involving climbing, crawling, running and lots of mud! The race is split into heats with three age groups, 4-6, 7-12, and 13-17 with a longer, tougher race for the older kids. We also run a special competition between schools known as the Superhero School Bell, in which students win points for their schools by wearing costumes or dressing in their school colors.

 

The course start line is located at Father's House Acres at 3556 Oro Bangor Hwy, Oroville CA

 

With the help of our sponsors, we are able to make the Lord's Gym Kids Run FREE. We want to support local families and create an event everyone can afford! However, please note space is limited, and heats sell out fast. So sign up today.

Race Distance: a little under 1 mile

Pricing Information: The Kids Run is FREE

Course Description: 

The Kids Run is under a mile long and includes around 18+ obstacles including climbing, crawling, jumping and lots of mud! We separate the races into three different age categories to make sure the course is age-appropriate.

Start Time: The race is divided into heats of 50-70 kids leaving every 10 minutes

  • On Saturday, June 4 - Heats are available from 10 AM to 4 PM. Heat times by age are as follows: 10 AM, 10:10 AM and 4 PM (Ages 13-17), 10:30 AM to 12:20 AM and 2:40 PM to 3:40 PM (Ages 7-12);12:40 PM to 2:20 PM (Ages 4-6).

  • On Sunday, June 5 - Heats are available from 2 PM to 6 PM. Heat times by age are as follows: 2 PM to 2:10 PM (Ages 13-17); 2:30 PM to 3:40 PM (Ages 7-12); 4 PM - 4:50 PM (Ages 4-6);  5:10 PM to 5:50 PM (Family Heats Ages 7-17)

It is HIGHLY recommended for a parent to run with the child if the child is 4 or 5 years old

​Aid Stations : We have Aid Stations planted throughout the course with EMT's available.

Spectators: we have FREE spectator zones where you can watch your kids race and cheer them on. In addition, If your child is 4 or 5 years old, the course is shorter and we HIGHLY recommend a parent to run with the child.

Other Information:

This year, we are adding FREE family games and activities at the Kids Mud Run for kids to enjoy with their families. We also have other fun attractions such as inflatables, sledding, and more at an extra cost. All profits raised go toward supporting our nonprofit mission.

 

Every year, we invite local schools to compete against each other in the Superhero School Bell! Students win points for their school by participating in the Kids Run and by wearing costumes or dressing in their school colors.

 

To ensure the safety of all the children involved, we unfortunately cannot allow older children to run in a younger age race (or vice versa).
