Enjoy an afternoon on the ice and then join the Lake Almanor Area Chamber for fireworks at Chester Airport at 9:00pm. “We anticipate another great show and a good turnout for our 3rd annual event of fireworks that lights up the sky,” says Jennie Mathews, co-chair of LAAC.  
The New Year’s Eve show was started after the chamber decided the town needed something to celebrate after COVID. This celebration was needed again after the community endured the wrath of Dixie. So loved were the fireworks it has been determined that this event is another “annual” that the chamber is happy to host for the community.
