Located in Lake Almanor is a very casual "paint and sip" series called SIPS & STONES! Come join us on the patio of our landscape materials yard for some rock painting and wine sipping. May's theme is "Sunflowers", but of course you can paint anything you want to on your rock. We provide rocks, paint, snacks, and drinks. Almanor Recreation and Park District (ARPD)ARPD’s Board of Directors meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6 PM, except in December. Your local Lake Almanor Elks Lodge is trying something new. It’s called Diner Night at the Elks Lodge a throwback to simpler times. This is a great place to take the whole family to dinner. Our menu is evolving but for now we offer your choice of hamburger, cheeseburger or hot dog, French fries, and Cole Slaw. Price is just $10 which includes tax. We will be offering beer and wine for our guests over the age of 21. Doors open at 5 p.m. Dinner service starts at 5:30pm.
