Spend a restful day at Mill Creek Resort on November 5th from 10am-4pm for a well-deserved slowdown in the mountains. The day will be centered around nature, journaling, gentle unwinding yoga, sound + chakra clearing, yoga nidra meditation and fire ceremony. A nourishing meal will be provided.

Walk, Jog, or Run to our annual 5k Turkey Trot in Bailey Creek! Registration starts at 7am and the run begins at 8am. Come early for free coffee and pastries! First 50 runners get a free fuzzy earband. Prizes for first place in each category (mens, womens, children 0-13) and for best Turkey or Thanksgiving-themed costume!
When: Thursday, November 23, 2023
Location: Bailey Creek Clubhouse, 433 Durkin Drive, Lake Almanor
Time: Registration/Sign-In starts at 7am, the Run begins at 8am
Cost: $10 per person
Proceeds go to the Lake Almanor Area Fireworks Fund.

All proceeds from the Chamber Bar Cart will go to the New Year's Eve Fireworks Show.

- Name tags are available.
- The thrift shop will stay open on Wednesdays and Saturdays through the month of November.
- Donations will continue at the thrift shop by appointment all year.
- Fire Sirens is requesting grocery bags, homemade craft items, and nonperishable food items for the holiday thrift shop sale.
- The Fire Sirens holiday and end of the year sale will be 9-1, Friday, November 24, 2023 to Saturday, November 25, 2023.
- Fire Sirens thrift shop gift certificates are available.
- The holiday potluck luncheon will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
- Volunteers are still needed for creating and updating a roster for members of Fire Sirens.
- Approve minutes for November 3, 2023.
- Kitchen cabinets and countertops for Fire Hall #1in the amount of $6,249.27.
- Bonuses for emergency personnel
- Reimbursement for renewal certificates in the amount of $238.00.
- Two ACLS Instructor Packages & Digital Videos in the amount of $415.34.
