Lake Almanor Memorial Weekend Craft Fair

Annual Lake Almanor Memorial Weekend Craft Fair is back!

The Lake Almanor Memorial Craft Fair hosted by Rotary Club of Chester at Chester Community Park will be held on Saturday and Sunday May 28 and 29th from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

“We are excited to host the 25th annual Crafts Fair with up to 55 vendors participating who are thrilled ‘to be back’ to share their unique hand-crafted products with our many guests and community,” says Cheri McIntire, event coordinator. “Each year we have craft enthusiasts who go straight to our ‘regulars’ buying their much-loved items and then spend the rest of the afternoon discovering some of the newest artisans we are so lucky to have come to our area,” adds McIntire. Rotary Club of Chester has been coordinating the fair since 2013 with each year bringing new artisans and shoppers to enjoy a day of shopping.

As with all events, Rotary will support all mandates issued by Plumas County but expect a full-house and a fun event for buyers and sellers.  For application, please click here and for more information please contact lakealmanormemorialdaycraftfair@yahoo.com.

The race is split into heats with three age groups, 4-6, 7-12, and 13-17 with a longer, tougher race for the older kids. We also run a special competition between schools known as the Superhero School Bell, in which students win points for their schools by wearing costumes or dressing in their school colors.

With the help of our sponsors, we are able to make the Lord's Gym Kids Run FREE. We want to support local families and create an event everyone can afford! However, please note space is limited, and heats sell out fast. So sign up today.
