The Board of Directors of the Almanor Recreation and Park District meets on the second Monday of every month at 6 p.m. at 101 Meadowbrook Loop, Chester, CA. The public is welcome.6/15/2024
The 41st Mile High 100 bike ride is set for Saturday, June 15, 2024, sponsored by the Almanor Recreation and Park District in Chester, CA. Three routes will feature a beautiful ride around Lake Almanor, with routes extending into Lassen County for the metric and full century. Distances are 33 miles, 68 miles and 100 miles. All routes include fully-stocked rest stops, rider support, catered lunch and beverages (including a complimentary post-ride beer from Timber House Brewing).
